The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report of the State of Wyoming (CAFR), which illustrates the State’s financial condition for the public and the legislature, can be accessed from this page, as can the Citizen Centric Report, from the menu on the left.
The State Auditor is responsible for maintaining a uniform computer accounting system, providing the means for agencies to submit their accounting information and get important reports back to agencies to help manage their budgets. The Wyoming Online Financial System processes all payments made by State agencies to businesses and individuals. The system also processes the paychecks for State employees each month, as well as for patient and inmate workers in the State's institutions, legislators, judges, board members and members of the Wyoming National Guard.
The Auditor serves alongside the Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer and Superintendent of Public Instruction on the State Loan and Investment Board, the Board of Land Commissioners and the State Building Commission. The boards deal with matters as diverse and vital as management of State lands, management and policy direction of investment of State permanent funds, and oversight of State buildings.
